About Victuo
Victuo supports yacht skippers, charterers, crews, and sailing organisers with one of the most time-consuming parts of preparing for a voyage: provisioning.
Planning food, water, supplies, storage, preferences, and resupply options for a boat is often more complex than it first appears. Crew size, trip length, region, onboard facilities, dietary requirements, weather, shore access, and storage limitations all affect what should be bought and how it should be planned.
Victuo was created to make that process clearer, more structured, and easier to manage.
Who We Support
Victuo is designed for people responsible for organising provisions on board, including bareboat skippers, charter guests, flotilla leaders, private yacht owners, sailing families, and small crewed operations.
It is particularly useful for coastal cruising, bareboat holidays, training trips, flotilla sailing, and longer passages where planning ahead matters.
What We Help With
Victuo helps translate trip information into practical provisioning outputs, including meal planning, shopping preparation, supplier research, storage awareness, and crew preference collection.
The aim is not simply to create a generic food list, but to reflect the realities of sailing: limited galley space, small fridges, mixed crew preferences, changing schedules, shore meals, weather delays, and variable access to shops or provisioning services.
Plans can be reviewed, adjusted, and shared so that the person organising the trip remains in control.
Our Approach
We believe provisioning should be treated as an important part of voyage preparation, not as a last-minute supermarket exercise.
Good provisioning improves comfort, reduces waste, avoids unnecessary overbuying, and helps the crew spend more time enjoying the trip. Victuo brings structure to that process while recognising that every boat, crew, and itinerary is different.
