By accessing and using Victuo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Victuo is a web-based provisioning planning tool for yacht and sailing trips. The Service generates meal plans, shopping lists, and provisioning estimates based on user-provided inputs. All outputs are estimates intended as planning aids, not guarantees.

3. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Provisioning quantities, meal suggestions, and supplier information are estimates only. You are responsible for verifying all quantities and making final provisioning decisions. Victuo is not liable for shortages, spoilage, allergic reactions, or any other consequences of relying on the Service's output.

4. User Responsibility

The skipper or person responsible for provisioning retains full responsibility for food safety, crew welfare, and adequate supplies. Dietary restriction and allergy filters are aids, not guarantees — always verify ingredients independently.

5. Data and Privacy

Trip data you enter is stored in your browser's local storage and in our database when you save a trip. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, meal database, and provisioning algorithms, is the property of Victuo. You may use the Service for personal provisioning planning. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Victuo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
